The local electric and gas departments must be called to check on underground lines prior to our beginning work on your wrought iron fence. Northland Fence will make the call, asking a power company representative to come out and mark the lines that run under your property.

The cities around Minnesota have a variety of fencing height restrictions. Northland Fence keeps track of all of them. In a Plymouth front yard, your wrought iron fence allotment is four feet in height. In your backyard or side yards, we can install fencing up to six feet high unless you live on a corner lot. Any yard, including the side or back, that faces a street is only allowed up to a four-foot fence line in that area.
