According to Champlin’s fencing codes, you can have your Champlin vinyl fence installed on or inside of your property line.

As long as your fencing is within the height requirements in Champlin, no building permit is required. The state requires any fencing taller than six feet to be designed by a structural engineer to withstand 90 mph wind loads. In that case, a building permit must be filed with engineering plans to Champlin’s building department.

In addition, if your property is located on a corner, that 36-inch limit may apply to the side yard facing the corner within the sight visibility triangle. There must be gate access if you have fencing between yards on your property.
